Camp Samuel is located near the Ohio River, just outside of Augusta, KY and 30 miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio by intersection AA and 875 Highways in Bracken County.
About Camp Samuel
CAMP SAMUEL'S INSPIRATION
Samuel is the son of Pastor Doug and Angela Tucker. He was born to die at birth. In fact, some medical doctors said to abort him. Samuel lives on at 8 yrs. old. Though he struggles physically, his spirit is pure within. God wants "Camp Samuel" to bring that spirit to our younger generation. God will capture hearts and our young people will capture their own God-given dreams and purpose for life. Deformed or misguided spirits of our children/teens will be made whole and once again will rise up to make their lives count in their generation. As Samuel's parents, we don't understand everything that God does. We do accept that "all things work together for good to those that love God.( Romans. 8:28)! Samuel's name was given prophetically before birth. It was afterward that we discovered the Hebrew meaning "heard of God". We have heard from God and Camp Samuel was established the summer of 2007!

Beyond dorm life, our ten acre campus has a sand volleyball court, two playgrounds, swimming pool, flag football, full basketball court, snack shop, Chapel, softball field, one mile prayer avenue (or jogging course), plus our new "Tug O War Mud Pit" arena and much more going on for the glory of God. All inside facilities have air conditioning including the dorms.
When...
Teen camp is July 14 - 18 and Children's camp is July 21 - 25. Arrive on Monday between 2:00 p.m. concluding Friday evening with our Awards Banquet (includes meal) from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. We encourage all family members of each camper to attend as we will be giving out many ribbons and trophies. After the banquet you can take your children home as camp concludes.
Children's Camp...
is focused for grades 3rd through 6th. These tender years are very important in pouring the life of God into our girls and boys. Society as a whole, uses many avenues to bring negative influences into the minds and hearts of our children.
The staff at Camp Samuel will enhance your child's life by building positive influences into the life of all our young campers through special organized daily activities.
Each day at Camp Samuel is carefully balanced and focused on God through crafts, music, drama, sports and academic teams complimented with some free time, movie night and of course Daily Morning Devotions and Evening Chapel Hour. Our counselors will be working closely with each camper.
Teen's Camp...
is focused for grades 7th through 12th. Beyond a lot of fun in our social and recreational activities, we will be aiming at the hearts of our teens. We know our teens face ongoing peer pressure as they are bombarded through media, music and movies plus ongoing temptation of drugs, alcohol, immorality etc. There are reasons why we have more than 10,000 teen suicides and over 100,000 attempted suicides by American teens each year.
During the week stay at Camp Samuel, we will have as our counselors, a visiting group of college students as well as various youth Christian bands and special youth speakers. We will be challenging and inspiring each teen to discover their own God-given purpose for life and pursue their dreams as they learn to walk with God and find His favor and blessing for life.
